Swain Porter is Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of FEV Analytics. A serial entrepreneur, Swain is also an active angel investor and startup mentor who solves problems with technology and great people. He started his career at Immunex (later acquired by Amgen) where he contributed to the development of ENBREL®, the fastest growing biologic drug ever created. After working as a technology consultant at Microsoft from 1996 to 2000, he founded Catalytic Software, a global software services company specializing in technology solutions for the media, technology, and telecom industries. He developed a 50 acre high-profile IT campus in India that included state-of-the-art business facilities and accommodation for employees and visiting clients, an award-winning project endorsed by the Prime Minister of India. Since selling Catalytic, Swain has devoted himself to creating revolutionary technology through the creation of FEV Analytics. Swain has been featured in the Wall Street Journal (“Indiana Jones and the Temple of Geeks” by Kara Swisher), New York Times, Wired, Worth Magazine, and a documentary for the BBC. He is a 40 Under 40 Honoree and an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist. He holds a BS in Molecular Biology from Willamette University.
